Lomas de Lachay Andes Race Details

Race Day: Saturday, October 10, 2020

Lachay National Reserve is located just 105 km, or 65 miles north of Lima, and bears a unique eco-system so special, it has become a protected area for its flora and fauna.  In this eco-system, racers will experience running through the coastal desert, arid mountains and wet mountain landscapes, similar to those of the Amazon jungle. Within one race, runners will experience the widest ranges of climates than any other race in Peru.

The race is also just a few hours from Lima, so runners can go and come back to Lima the same day.  The race is in low altitude and does not have steep elevations gains, so it is great for beginner and intermediate runners looking to enjoy a trip outside of Lima.
